About Us

A message from Rev’d David Langford & Rev’d David Hookins

Welcome to the website for the Trinity Centre. Trinity United Reformed Church seeks to serve the community of Ringwood both spiritually and practically through the use of the Trinity Centre. As part of our commitment to following Christ we are currently worshipping with Ringwood Methodist Church, and working together wherever possible. Such co-operation is challenging for both congregations but attracts those who are seeking a dynamic community in which to worship and serve.

James Webster, Centre Manager writes:

The Trinity Centre has become a hive of activity!  Sundays are busy with a growing church and a thriving Junior Church and the usage of the Centre has developed with people of all ages passing through the doors during the week.  On the younger side we have babies learning sign language with their mums with ‘Tiny Talk’ on a Wednesday, through toddlers in the hall with Little Lambs, to children and young people learning drama, dance and music with the Big Little Theatre School.  At the more senior end of the spectrum are the members of Trinity Guild who meet on a Tuesday and the users of the Age Concern Day Care Centre which is providing care from Monday to Friday.

There are also a good variety of other activities taking place. From those who provide support to members of the local community, such as the monthly Carers Café and Bennington Training Services who give training to the unemployed. To those who offer educational opportunities such as the New Forest Community Education (Brockenhurst College) who have used the Centre for French & Counselling courses, Ringwood Dance Classes, who teach a variety of styles of dance at different levels, Rosemary Conley Diet & Fitness and Slimming World.  Find out more at the Church Activities and Centre Users pages.

It is our aim to keep a balance between church and community users of the Centre and to keep space available for new church initiatives, such as the exciting opportunity of Trinity Lunches.  It is our prayer that we use this place to the glory of God, serving Him through serving the people of our local community.
