John Birch, Manager of the Centres writes: Trinity Centre in particular is a hive of activity! Sundays are busy with a growing church and a thriving Junior Church. During the week, the usage of both Trinity Centre and Wesley Centre is extensive with people of all ages passing through the doors. On the younger side we have babies learning sign language with their mums with Sing and Sign, the Under Ones group provides opportunity for mothers with babies to be together and share ideas, Little Lambs provides a safe environment for toddlers play in the hall and children and young people learning drama, dance and music with the Big Little Theatre School. Trinity Guild, which meets on a Tuesday provides senior members of the community with a varied programme of activities and the Age Concern Day Care Centre provides care from Monday to Friday. A good variety of other activities is offered throughout the week. These include support to members of the local community, such as the monthly Carers Café; the New Forest Community Education (Brockenhurst College) who use the Centre as required to offer Conversational French; Counselling courses and numerous other educational Courses; Ringwood Dancing Classes, who teach a variety of styles of dance at different levels; Pilates and Exercise classes, Alzheimers Society, Monday Lunches, where an excellent meal is provided at a very nominal cost, etc. Click the links to Church Activities and Centre Users pages to find out more. It is our aim to keep a balance between church and community users of the Centres and to keep space available for new church initiatives. It is our prayer that these places are used to the glory of God, serving Him through serving the people of our local community. |

About Us |
|
A message from Rev’d David Hookins Welcome to the website for the Trinity and Wesley Centres. Trinity United Church, Methodist and United Reformed, Ringwood, formed in 2008 as a Local Ecumenical Partnership, seeks to serve the community of Ringwood both spiritually and practically through the use of the Trinity Centre. As part of our commitment to following Christ we are worshipping and working together as one congregation. Such co-operation is challenging but attracts those who are seeking a dynamic community in which to worship and serve. |
