Spires – Spaces – Support

 

We’re raising funds to secure Trinity’s Church and Community Centre for future generations in Ringwood. Can you help?

                                                               
 

Built in 1866 in the Victorian Gothic Revival style, Trinity United’s pinnacles, spires and pointed lancet windows form a striking presence in the heart of Ringwood.

However, the Grade II listed building is now in critical need of restoration. The town’s iconic spires face potential removal for public safety, the sides windows are at risk of falling out and the masonry,  including the boundary wall,  is crumbling.

£300,000 is needed for the urgent and essential repairs required to make it safe and weatherproof to continue to serve Ringwood for the years to come.

A £57,500 grant from the United Reformed Church (Wessex) Trust Ltd has given our campaign a strong start. But we still have a long way to go to save our landmark building.

SO MUCH MORE THAN A BUILDING, Trinity United, with its beautiful spires, is a sacred place cherished by Ringwood’s community for worship, celebration, remembrance and marking life’s significant moments.

But it’s also a vibrant community hub.

With space for everyone, we host dance, exercise, martial arts, drama and music classes for all ages.

Need support? At Trinity, you’ll find help with dementia, mental health and addiction, alongside physical wellbeing services such as cardiac rehabilitation and mobility training.

We’re also a much-loved arts venue, hosting choirs, concerts and performances throughout the year.

If we lose Trinity United, Ringwood loses its historic building.
The town loses a vital community resource.

We are applying to national and regional charitable trusts for funding, but most require local contributions to prove strong public support and backing. So, every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference.
